But something magical happens when people create together in person. That realization led to "The eXperience", Writing Rounds’ first songwriting retreat in 2021. These retreats weren’t just workshops—they were transformative gatherings where beginner and expert songwriters co-wrote, learned the ins and outs of the music industry, and walked away with incredible songs.
Over the next four years, The eXperience grew into quite the spectacle, hosting 19 retreats in cities across the U.S., with Franklin, Tennessee—a stone’s throw from Music City—becoming a beloved hub. These events continue to thrive, empowering songwriters to connect, learn, and create in ways that transform their creativity.
SongShare is more than a business—it’s a movement born from a deep love for music and the creatives behind it. Its roots trace back to 2020, when Jessica Hitte and LeBron Arnwine launched Writing Rounds, a lifeline for songwriters during the global pandemic. While the world shut down, Writing Rounds opened doors, teaching and collaborating virtually with over 800 creatives worldwide in just one year.
As Writing Rounds thrived, Jessica noticed a glaring gap in the music world. The process of releasing music was overwhelming, confusing, and often discouraging—even for the most talented artists. As a music artist, songwriter, label builder, teacher, and publisher, Jessica had lived through the frustration firsthand. How many brilliant songs never get heard because the process feels impossible to navigate? Where is the roadmap?
When Writing Rounds was acquired by another company, Jessica saw a chance to expand and deepen the mission. SongShare, LLC, is the next chapter—a continuation of the heart and vision of Writing Rounds, but with an even sharper focus on guiding creatives of all levels through the full music journey. From the first spark of a song to the final note of a release, SongShare is here to help creatives not just dream, but thrive.
