About the event
Writing With Intention: Demos
Not every song needs the same kind of demo. In this session, we’ll break down the different types of demos—acoustic, programmed, full band, etc.—and how to choose the one that best communicates your song. We’ll cover industry-standard expectations, basic specs, and practical tools to help your demo sound clear and professional without overproducing or overspending. You’ll learn how to communicate with the producer to help you present your song in a way that highlights its strengths and avoids common demo pitfalls. The focus is clarity, intention, and smart presentation.
